We are searching for a dedicated and trustworthy Caregiver who will provide professional assistance to patients in the need. As a Caregiver, you will assist elderly and disabled people in primary day-to-day activities and tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, moving, and general hygiene. Moreover, you will assist patients in household duties, such as preparing meals, cleaning, and grocery shopping.

Being a Caregiver is a highly rewarding job and candidates require a special set of skills and mindset to be successful. Your primary goal in this position is to provide the possible service and assistance to patients by being a friendly, encouraging, attentive, and pleasant everyday companion. You should also be compassionate, emphatic, flexible, patient, a great communicator, and a problem-solver.

Caregiver Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in basic day-to-day activities and personal care, such as bathing, general hygiene, grooming, dressing, eating, etc
  • Understand and follow the prescribed healthcare plan
  • Administer medication and assist with physical exercise
  • Provide assistance regarding mobility, which can include helping clients in and out of bed, chair, or wheelchair
  • Transport and escort clients to medical appointments
  • Monitor changes in health and behavior
  • Prepare meals and assist while eating if needed
  • Go grocery shopping or accompany clients while they go shopping
  • Perform housekeeping duties if clients are not able to (cleaning, vacuuming, doing the laundry)
