What is a Car Porter?
Car Porters, or Auto Porters, typically work in car dealerships where they move and park vehicles between display areas and storage facilities.
They are responsible for keeping track of vehicle locations, cleaning and maintaining vehicles’ interior and exterior, and performing other maintenance tasks, such as changing batteries and filling oil and gas.
Car Porters transport vehicles to customers’ homes or other pickup locations after the purchase, check vehicles for damages like dents and scratches, and perform additional off-site tasks assigned by the management.
