An administrative assistant is someone who performs office or administrative tasks for an individual or organization. For example, many are employed by government agencies, hospitals, universities, and companies to answer phones, send faxes, type correspondence, keep appointments schedules.
Administrator assistants are usually put in charge of the clerical side of the operation, including setting up meeting rooms and organizing events. Other duties may include greeting visitors or transferring calls to various departments within the organization.
